They are designed with exclusive Filtrete Brand 3-in-1 technology from 3M to trap unwanted air particles while allowing cleaner air to flow through.
These filters are designed to attract and capture microscopic particles, such as smoke, cough and sneeze debris, bacteria and viruses, as well as larger particles, including lint, household dust and pollen. They offer 62% small particle capture, which relates to HVAC industry standard efficiency testing for 0.3 to 1 micron particles from the air passing through the filter.
Filtrete Premium Allergen, Bacteria & Virus Air Filters are certified as asthma & allergy friendly, as outlined in report ASCR: 1197-01. The MPR 1900 filter has a rating of MERV 13, which indicates its ability to capture a higher percentage of smaller airborne particles compared to lower MERV-rated filters.
